Ross has been a maths education junkie for 45 years. He has been employed as a maths teacher, maths methods tutor, school coordinator, curriculum developer, assessment designer and administrator, researcher and research manager. He managed the mathematics domain for the OECD’s PISA survey for several PISA survey cycles and has recently developed a description of mathematical growth for use in the international development context. He leads Australia’s involvement in the International Mathematical Modeling Challenge and is a member of the international organising committee for the IMMC.
