Our annual reader survey has concluded for another year. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on Teacher and your ideas for future content.
Your input is so valuable to us, and each year our team look forward to reading the responses we receive. In this article, we’re highlighting a few of the responses we received, and, of course, sharing the winner of the prize for completing the survey.
Topics important to you
As our survey has told us in previous years, there are a range of topics we covered in the past 12 months that you found interesting, and many you’d like us to cover in the future.
In response to our question, what topics have you found most interesting and why? some common themes that emerged were leadership, behaviour management, mathematics and supporting students with additional needs.
You also let us know you have been enjoying content from our fortnightly Saturday publication, Wellbeing by Teacher, and would like to see more in the future. Content formats
Our podcasts are downloaded by over 25,000 people each month. So, it was no surprise to see a large number of you let us know in our survey that you enjoy listening to our podcasts. You also shared that you prefer shorter articles and, like in previous years, that you enjoy our infographics.
In case you missed it, last month, we launched a new podcast series, School Assembly. Teacher Editorial Assistant, Zoe Kaskamanidis will be following Ray Boyd and Rachael Lehr, Principal and Associate Principal at Dayton Primary School in Western Australia, as they prepare for the school to open next year.
How you’re using Teacher content
We also asked you: Can you give an example of how you've used Teacher to support your professional practice? Many of you let us know that our content helps you keep up-to-date with the latest educational research, or has prompted discussion and action within your school community.
